PC/Laptop in the STYX network

A PC/laptop for configuring, maintaining and updating the STYX system and its components must be connected to the STYX network via the STE01 adapter.

If the Infrastructure Light/19″/Master(SNM01) is connected to the Internet via the “Public” port, then you have Internet access via the STE01 on your PC/Laptop.

Correct wiring
PC/laptop to STE01 via Ethernet cable (RJ45)
STE01 via STYX cable to Infrastructure or Network Connector (SNC01)

Internet router via Ethernet cable (RJ45) to the public port of the server

NEVER connect your PC/laptop directly to the server’s public port! Doing so can cause irreparable damage to your PC/laptop’s network card.
