Subject: Software Support Status for StyxLonConverter & CU951 Time Zone Discrepancies.

Overview
The StyxLonConverter software has reached End-of-Life (EOL) and is no longer updated or released. Consequently, dynamic changes to regional time zone policies or Daylight Saving Time (DST) regulations are not automatically reflected on the CU951 control unit.

Impact
If a country modifies its DST or time zone rules, the CU951 may display the incorrect time (e.g., an offset of 1 hour). This discrepancy can occur even when the correct time zone is configured in Range Configurator and all other STYX devices display the accurate time.

Recommended Workaround
To ensure correct timekeeping on the CU951, select an alternative time zone within Range Configurator that shares the same current UTC offset and DST schedule as your local region and that has not recently been altered.

• Example: Following Egypt’s reintroduction of DST in 2023, selecting the standard Egypt time zone results in the CU951 being off by 1 hour. Setting the Range time zone to Europe/Athens serves as a workaround to restore accurate time display across all devices.
