User Competition with Sius Dat: 60 Shot Prone with NRA 50 foot Target

I am trying to create a User Competition with Barcode Editor.
My intent is to recreate the 60PR event, but the target will be the USA50 Fifty foot smallbore target. The target is mounted ATE10 Lifters.
I can create the barcode with the correct target. Seven series are included, P, and 6 each S with 10 shots each.
The data is saved to CustomerBarcode.txt in the Sius Data file.
When I start Data, open Settings and select Range Type= NRA Targets, I get the option for user shoots, and I select the user created FR60PR50. The targets are then selected and started with Sius Data. The target lifters default to the Standing Position.
How do get them to default to the prone position? Then stay in the prone position.

is my assumption correct that the positions for your user barcode are not approached automatically as usual in a 3-position competition?

There are tow ways to start a shoot, by selecting “Targets” or “Program”.
Program are predefined shoots which have addition to the order of competition also some other settings as special printouts, scoring methods and also target lifter positions.
Targets to which also user barcodes belongs have only a target shape. All settings have to be set manually.

If you create a user barcode you have to do the change for each position manually.

Hello Peter,
Your assumption is correct. The position, prone in this case, is not automatically selected. And, for the SA951, operating the lifter requires ADMIN group security level to reach System/Hardware/Target/Target Lifter/ of the menu tree.

Example: A Barcode item Programs/50m/ISSF/Rifle 60 is copied to the USER folder. A USER Barcode is inserted and modified to use NRA Target/50ft Rifle Target, with a P series and (6) S/10 series. This is saved, and Sius Data is updated.
We then turn on the range, open Sius Data, select Range Type= NRA targets from Settings. From the course of fire drop down we choose User Shoots. Then we choose the newly created Rifle 60. The lanes are selected and started with the new user shoot.
The SA951 is running the new user shoot with the correct target and course of fire, but the lifter is not in the prone position.
Question: Can the user barcode have the function to automatically drive the lifter to the prone position. Or, can the user barcode instruct the SA951 to give access to the Target Lifter menu without the Admin group security?

Dear Maikata329

a user barcode does not have additional function and settings within the same code. You have to set additional function or settings as an additional command.

There are different possibilities to do that without go into ADMIN group:
– control it from SIUSData
– with barcode reader and printed barcodes at the lanes
– create Shortcut, which will become available after download to SIUSData through Remote Control Menu
